Dear Friends,
Here is the news for the coming week.
A little word
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace towards me has not been in vain. 1 Cor 15.10 (NRSV)
This statement of St Paul comes just after he has listed all the people the risen Jesus appeared to, and then explained why he was such an unlikely character in that list. I guess the point is that no one is beyond the call of Jesus to follow. It is open to all, whoever we are, whatever we’ve done. That is the point of Grace. We need to remind ourselves of that truth and see others in the light of that truth.
Things to pray for
- Give thanks for the Grace of God, wide enough to encompass anyone and everyone.
- For the General Synod as they meet this week this week in London.
- For the family of Harvey Willgoose and the community of All Saints school.
