Dear friends,
Here is the news for this week.
A little word
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble…The nations are in uproar and the kingdoms are shaken,… Be still, and know that I am God; Psalm 46.1,6,10 (CW)
We certainly live in unpredictable times. Our news is filled on a daily basis with reports of bombing and killing. Please remember those we know who have friends and relatives in Iran, worried and concerned and unable to get updates. We pray for those caught up in the destruction, we pray for peace, and restraint on all sides, for the voice of reason to prevail and for the dialogue to start again.
Things to pray for
- Give thanks for all those who can maintain a belief that God is sovereign, whatever happens in the world.
- For the situation in Iran and the surrounding region.
- For our PCC as they have several important meetings in the coming weeks.
