Weekly news for 22/12 & 29/12

Dear Friends,

Wishing you all a merry Christmas and hoping to see you at one of our services in the Welcome Centre

A little word

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. John 1.14 (NIV)

To think that God’s great rescue mission for humanity rested on the risk and fragility of the incarnation! In that vulnerable baby lay all our hopes and dreams. God becomes one of us; lives amongst us; shows us the way. It truly is Good News of Great Joy for All the People.

Things to pray for

  • Give thanks for the wonder and joy of Christmas
  • For peace and hope to be seen in troubled places and lives.
  • For everyone working over Christmas to keep us safe, warm and healthy.
