Dear Friends,
Don’t forget the clocks change on Sunday morning. This week Amanda is renewing her Baptism vows.
A little word
Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3.14 (NRSV)
Mothering Sunday means different things to different people. Some of us have nothing but happy memories of all things motherly and family. For others it is nothing but a source of pain. I think we would all agree it is a huge calling, and is at times hard but is a wonderful thing. We as the Church should be like family, and we also aspire to the best of motherhood and family life in the way we nurture and support one another. Above everything we love, because love binds us in the best and worst of life.
Things to pray for
- Give thanks for Mothers and all who care for and nurture us.
- For our neighbours and community celebrating Eid.
- For those on School holidays- for safety , fun and refreshment.
