Weekly news for 26.2.23

Dear Friends

We hope to see you as we do Lent together.

A little word (from Sara)

God is love and those who live in love live in God and God lives in them.                   1 John 4.16

A very heart-felt THANK YOU for last Sunday! I’m not sure when I have ever felt so loved… you are a great lot.

I would have to go round the whole congregation to say thank you for so many different things over the last nearly four years, but particularly thankyou Pip: you have taught me so much, and Bill, for all your support.  Also, all the people who worked so hard in the kitchen.

Which brings us to… there are a few people who spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It would be great to have another two or so volunteers to take on Sunday Coffee once a month: it makes such a difference to our life together.

Things to pray for

  • Give thanks for every member of our Church as we each play our part.
  • For all those caught in the Asylum backlogs.
  • For free and fair elections, especially in Nigeria.
