Dear Friends
Don’t forget the clock change, or you’ll be very late!
Do remember to check in to our facebook page or the website regularly for updates.
A little word
“Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” Mark 5.34
I’m getting a lot out of our daily LiveLent readings. Isabelle has a way of putting things that makes me think and catches my imagination.
This week we thought about when Jesus had an encounter with both Jairus, whose daughter was gravely ill, and the (unnamed) women who had been bleeding for years. Jesus responded to each in their need in a different way. He made the one ignored, seen and gave privacy and dignity to the public figure.
They both mattered and he gave them both care and kindness.
Things to pray for
- Give thanks for God’s compassion seen so vividly in Jesus
- For all those struggling with debt and financial worries
- For the Barney and Sobia as they marry on Saturday

Live Lent
During Lent we will be encouraging you to join us in a daily reading, reflection, and prayer around the theme of justice. There is a little booklet for everyone with all the material you need. Please pick one up. We want everyone to join in. If you want to cover the cost, they are £1.50 each but that is entirely voluntary.
You can download it as an app for your iOS or android smartphone. Search ‘livelent’ in your app store.
On Sunday evenings there will be a reflective space to introduce the weekly theme. We will gather from 6.30pm for a cuppa and start promptly at 7pm for 30-45mins.
Toddler Group
Congratulations to Esther who is starting a new job working with the Vine and St Timothy’s. This will leave a vacancy to join the team running the Toddler group on a Wednesday morning, starting after the Easter holidays.
One option is the refreshments rather than staying for the whole thing, we could do with both really. If you would like to join in this rewarding and vital work talk to Pip asap.
Spring Cleaning
Thanks to all those who came and helped with the cleaning inside.
Don’t forget outside: Friday and Saturday Morning, 1st and 2nd of April from 10am.
If you can’t make the dates, there will be a list of things to do, so just sign up for what you can.
Thank you!!
Health Centre survey
Sheffield has £37m available to transform general practice across the city. This funding could be used to build up to five new health centres in Sheffield bringing together GP services, other health services, and some voluntary all under one roof. Council services may also have a presence in some of the buildings. One area is ours.
People can have their say by filling in the online survey here:
