Weekly news for 5.7.20

Dear Friends

Here is the latest news, but do please also check in with the facebook page www.facebook.com/ccpitsmoor/   and website  www.pitsmoor.church/  during the week.

We are working on measures to be able to reopen the church building, hopefully we will be able to update you soon.

A little word

Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvellous deeds. Psalm 71:17  (NIV)

Some of you may have watched ‘Marvellous’ this week on the TV. If you didn’t, can I commend it to you. You’ll find it on BBC i-player. It is 90mins of wit and wisdom, as it tells the (true) story of Neil, an avid Anglican and Stoke City supporter. Above all it shows what someone who chooses to live a life of positivity can bring to this world. Neil says ‘Marvellous’ is his favourite word, he can tell you where it is in the Psalms too, as well as a couple of other places.

God is marvellous, he has made a marvellous world, and you are his marvellous and unique handiwork.
