We’re a church serving the communities of Pitsmoor, Burngreave and Neepsend.
The area is hugely diverse and this is reflected in the life of Christ Church. We’re a church of all ages and multiple cultures.
Community
We run or host a variety of events, groups and meals used by lots of different people from our local community.
Groups
We have several different mid-week groups to help and encourage us on our faith journey together.
Sundays
We meet on Sundays at 9.15am, 10.30am and 7pm. Each service has a different style, and are open to all.

Welcoming
We want to give a warm welcome to anyone and everyone. Hospitality and community are a big part of who we are as a church.
For a long time, we have welcomed refugees as part of our wider church community. We are a member of Welcome Churches.
Inclusive
You are welcome at Christ Church Pitsmoor regardless of your ability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity or sexuality.
We are a member of Inclusive Church, a network of churches, groups and individuals uniting together around this vision.
Local
As a parish church, we are embedded in and committed to our local community.
We gladly partner with other groups and organisations engaged in community building activites.
