Weekly news for 4.6.23

Dear Friends

This week is Trinity and we welcome Khamari and his family for his Baptism.

A little word

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.    2 Cor 13.14 (NIV)

This little verse at the end of Paul’s Corinthian letters is very familiar as we pray it often as ‘the grace’. We may say it without even noticing what it says. It is Trinitarian, reminding us of God as Father, Son and Spirit. It also reminds us of three vital values. Grace – free gift; Love – central to everything; Fellowship – the bonds between us. When we next hear it let’s draw in all it has to say to us.

Things to pray for

  • Give thanks for God’s revelation to us as Father, Son & Spirit.
  • For Khamari and his family.
  • For Will & Lucy settling back into Sheffield as they prepare to join us next month.
